About the Play
While under house arrest during the Bolshevik revolution, the last Grand Duchesses of the Russian empire—Olga, Tatiana, Marie, and Anastasia Romanov—struggle to make sense of their downfall from royalty. Stuck together in one small room, they grapple with difficult truths, exposing secrets and testing sisterly bonds as they come to terms their fate.
