Stacey is an M.F.A. Theatre Directing candidate originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. After earning her degree in Theatre Arts/Vocal Performance, she moved to New York City where she worked as a Creative Producer with the Emmy Award-winning production company, RWS Entertainment Group, conceiving and producing live entertainment installations for theme parks and cruise ships around the globe. She studied directing at NYC’s The Barrow Group led by the renowned actor, director, and acting coach, Seth Barrish. She is co-creator and VO Artist of the story-based podcast, The Poem Comes After — a poetry inspired theatrical podcast available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. A champion of new works, Stacey made her New York debut by producing and directing a night of new one-act plays at The Kraine Theatre (FRIGID NYC). Other directing credits include: The Drowning Girls, Peter and the Starcatcher, A True Pogue (world premiere), The Show Must Go On: A Musical Mystery at Sea (world premiere).
Prior to attending Baylor University, Stacey was a Visiting Professor of Theatre/Musical Theatre at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana where she taught courses in Acting and Script Analysis, while directing and producing on the main stage.
