Ethan Trueman

Ethan Trueman is the Box Office Associate for Baylor University's Department of Theatre Arts and helps manage the department's social media, marketing, and website needs. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre Performance from Baylor University in 2012 and joined the United States Army as an Infantryman shortly after. After his military career, he returned to Waco and joined the local theatre community.

As an actor he has performed across numerous stages and with several companies such as Silent House Theatre Co., Wild Imaginings, and Waco Civic Theatre. Some of his acting credits include the Emcee (Caberet), Jesus (Godspell), Bottom (A Midsummer Night's Dream), as well as the Stranger from the short film Bloody Tears (dir. Andy Racoti). 

In 2023 he co-founded the Waco Actors' Guild (WAG), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education, fostering cultural enrichment, and promoting community well-being for all actors in Waco, TX and its surrounding communities. He currently sits as its Chair along with co-founder Melanie Lambert as Vice Chair and Kami Yasko as Treasurer. He created several programs which continue to provide the public with information on current local theatre events as well as provide vital communications tools to local theatre companies to ensure a seamless production process.
