Young Festival Stage

Waco's First Professional Theatre for Young Audiences!
The Young Festival Stage is Waco's first professional theater for young audiences. We are dedicated to bringing dynamic, family-friendly experiences to young theatre-goers and seasoned patrons alike. Our vision is to ignite the imaginations of our Central Texas community by showcasing world-class performances that celebrate the power of live storytelling.
Our 2025 musical is Androcles and the Lion. This timeless tale of courage, kindness, and unlikely friendship has leapt from the page to the stage in a joyful musical full of heart, humor, and song.
This summer, we’re bringing this classic to life at Baylor’s Mabee Theatre—a perfect adventure for the young and the young at heart.
Tickets available for purchase through the Baylor Theatre Box Office on May 27, 2025.
